The Myriad Ramifications of Abortion

Dr. P. G. Ney, MD, FRCP(C), M.A. Peeters, MD

A. Abortion is our world’s greatest biological crime.
    No species can massively destroy its own young and survive.

B. The effects of abortion on the sensitive ecology of our species:

  1. Disrupts the parent-infant bonding which increases child abuse and neglect;
  2. Interferes with parental response to an infant’s helpless cry;
  3. Decreases parental touching and breast feeding.

C. The impact of abortion on surviving children:

  1. Children who survive the aborting of siblings feel guilty for being alive and easily become suicidal.
  2. Children who survive a consideration to terminate them have a fear of impending doom, so they don’t plan for the future.
  3. Children who survive when many other unborn children are terminated have difficulty trusting any authority.
  4. Children who survive attempts to terminate their unborn lives feel great fear and anger towards parents and physicians.
  5. Being alive because you are wanted leaves children with no intrinsic sense of worth.
  6. Selective feticide leaves all handicapped anxious and thus more dependent.

D. Aborting women results in poorer physical and mental health:

  1. No evidence that ‘therapeutic abortion” is of any benefit to women;
  2. Physical damage to mother, increased miscarriages and sterility;
  3. Psychological damage to all women, Post Abortion Syndrome;
  4. Difficult grieving, prolonged mourning and depression;
  5. Denial of femininity, identity crisis;
  6. Distrust of men and marriage.

E. Abortion affects men badly:

  1. More sexual irresponsibility. “Who cares. She can always abort it.”
  2. More conflict with women (competition). “My rights.”
  3. Impotence, insult to masculinity and biological continuity.
  4. Less bonding to infant and support of child.
  5. Diminished partner support increases chance of abortion.

F. Abortion has deleterious effects on the family:

  1. Despairing grandparents, no grandchildren to receive their wisdom;
  2. Cynical, violent teenagers, angry at callous regard for them;
  3. Frustrated, adopting parents, no children at any price;
  4. Unfulfilled maiden aunts, no one to cuddle;
  5. Greater demand for day care, parents afraid of their aggression.

G. Damaging effects of abortion on social structures:

  1. Passive reaction to tragedy from bystanders;
  2. Breaking an ancient taboo protecting the helpless;
  3. Hardening of emotional response to killing small people;
  4. Greater discrepancy between belief and behaviour;
  5. A slide to euthanasia and eugenics;
  6. Greater demands for population control.

H. The disastrous effect of abortion on the medical profession:

  1. Damaged medicine's public image;
  2. Diminished patient confidence, doctors must try to be popular;
  3. Damaged self image and self confidence, lessened desire to serve;
  4. Selection of medical students and residents;
  5. Temptation to kill out of compassion;
  6. Distortion of medical science:
    (won’t publish something not politically correct)
    (won’t address existential questions)
    (won’t help women to deal with grief from abortion)
  7. Reasons for massive increase in health budget, doctors practice defensively;
  8. Persecution of pro-life physicians.

I. Abortion distorts law, lawyers and law enforcers:

  1. Lack of guidance by law for morality;
  2. Lessened protection for those who are weak, voiceless or voteless;
  3. Uneven sentencing of protesters;
  4. Pressure to give politically correct judgements.

J. Abortion undermines good business:

  1. Increasing costs from lengthy contracts because of distrust and dishonesty;
  2. Lack of confidence in monetary system;
  3. Killing the unborn is financially profitable;
  4. If can't admit had an abortion, people are dishonest with themselves and each other;
  5. Cannot run a free market economy with a declining population.

K. The adverse effects of abortion on demography:

  1. Greater tax burden on fewer young families;
  2. Increased racial tensions, breeders against non-breeders;
  3. Projected hostility from unresolved guilt;
  4. Genocide through feticide;
  5. WORLDWIDE HOPELESSNESS. Without children there is no reason to hope and conserve for the future. Without hope, people don't want children.
