YOU KNOW WITHOUT BEING TOLD THAT SUMMER IS NEAR

Just so when you see the events I’ve described taking place, you can be sure the Kingdom of God is near” Lk. 22:30
Observations:
Evangelical Christians voted for Obama because they were more impressed with his economic policies.
Sudden unexplained unstoppable recession.
Local 40 page Christian News with headlines about missions to the poor, elderly and homeless but nothing about rampant murder, the killing of preborn people.
If we are to interpret the signs of our times what do these observations indicate?
Jeremiah responded Hananiah” (a prophet predicting peace and prosperity). “The ancient prophets who preceded you and me spoke against many nations, always warning of war, famine and disease. So a prophet who predicts peace must carry the burden of proof. Listen Hananiah! The Lord has not sent you, but the people believe your lies. Therefore the Lord says you must die.” Jer. 28:5,9,15,16
“Yet it happened because of the sins of her prophets and priests, who defiled the city by shedding innocent blood” Lam.4:13. Our priests and prophets and pastors are not killing innocent children but they might as well be, for they ignore their plight. “Rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to death; don’t stand back and let them die. Don’t try to avoid responsibility by saying you didn’t know about it. ………and He knows you knew. And He will judge all people according to what they have done.” Pr. 24:11, 12 and not done.
At one time many Christians fought for justice for the preborn. They were eager to help heal those who were deeply damaged by a combination of childhood mistreatment and abortion. Now the indifference is appalling. But God does not forget and He will give people what they are asking for.
They want to limit population. They want to respect a woman’s right to choose. They vote for a prime minister who has repeatedly stated he will not deal with the slaughter of innocent Canadians. He wants to put the economy first. Soon he will recognize that you cannot run a free market economy with a declining population. Importing people will not work because there are not enough elsewhere and it results in xenophobia with racial and cultural clashes.
“……I will not destroy you. But I must discipline you. I cannot let you go unpunished”. “I had to punish you because your sins are many and your guilt is great.” Jer. 30: 11&15.
“I have heard what these prophets say…..And they proceed to tell lies in my name. If they are prophets, they are prophets of deceit, inventing everything they say” Jer. 23: 26, 27.
“This is what the Lord says: Take your choice of life or death. Stop murdering the innocent!” Jer 21:8 Jer 22:3.
“Perhaps they will listen and turn from their evil ways. Then I will be able to withhold the disaster I am ready to pour out on them because of their sins.”Jer.26:3

Part 2

Some of the consequences of abortion are easily predictable. They are easy because of the logical extrapolation of from current changes and partly because God makes it very clear how He views current human behaviour.
I Declining population:
Replacement or flat growth require 2,1 children / couple. Most European countries have 1.2 to 1.6. Canada has 1.5 Russia is losing 1,000,000 people per year. Everywhere the fertility rates are falling in an exponential manner.
Canada hopes to keep its population growing by encouraging immigration, especially of healthy, wealthy, well trained people. This policy has resulted in xenophobia in France and Germany in particular. Nice people become racist. There are gangs and riots.
Countries from where these immigrants come resent the loss of their best talents and brains. Counties like the Philippines which has exported workers are now trying to limit their population with restrictive policies like no more than 2 children per couple. They ignore the clear data that people are wealth.
A free market economy cannot work when there is a declining population. None of the rules that have kept countries flourishing, now work.
II Logical deductions.
1. Goods and Services lose value.
- As population shrinks the demand diminishes and thus the value of goods and services declines.
- Houses, most people’s primary asset loses value. In many instances there is a negative value because the mortgage is greater than the value of the house on the market. In an effort not to lose their homes, people will sell their other assets, shares, debentures etc.
- With declining value of shares, many businesses will close and others lay off staff.
- As the demand for houses declines, carpenters, plumbers etc. no longer have work or an income. They can’t pay debts or overdrafts and have to sell, adding to the glut on the market of homes, cars, etc.
- Without work and losing their primary assets people panic.
2. People lose confidence in money and government
- People soon recognize the seriousness of the situation and demand the government and the banks take drastic action. Governments are quickly replaced, resulting in further instability and fear.
- People lose confidence in banks and other money loaning institutions so that they become afraid to put their cash into savings, etc which results in banks being strapped for cash to lend.
- People lose self esteem and become pessimistic about the future. They are more likely to quarrel and less likely to volunteer and share.
- People will try more desperately to distract themselves from the gloom of recession, job loss and declining assets with more frequent and more intense distractions of violent movies and games, more alcohol and drugs, more sexual aberrations etc.
3. Governments futile and desperate attempts to “restart the economy”
- Governments will attempt to inject easily available cash into the system, to encourage consuming and employment. Most of this money will put governments further into debt, increasing the burden on young persons and increasing the taxes they must pay, much of which goes into paying interest. They are not stupid and there is growing resentment toward governments and older people who appear to benefit most.
- Although more houses and cars will be built, there is still relatively little demand for them and thus house values will fall even further.
- The rich will inevitably become richer and the poor, more envious. Thus crime will increase.
- There will be greater demand for “protection, law and order etc. which will require more police, lawyers, courts. All of whom could be used for nefarious purposes.
- Make jobs work on infrastructure cannot continue indefinetly. To maintain roads etc, there will have to be more taxes. In short order the pavement will break up, sewers clod, power become less reliable and so on.
4. Medical services will deteriorate
- Universal health care, already a huge burden on the economy, will gradually become less available, less well staffed and with poor moral.
- Private insurances will grow and make huge amounts from those who can afford it, for a short space of time.
- To trim costs there will be increasing pressure for doctor assisted suicide and other forms of euthanasia for those whose quality of life is considered by some hospital committee, to no longer warrant treatment or care because of their poor quality of life.
- Eugenics will become increasingly accepted and practiced.
- Realizing their probable fate at the hands of some ethics committee, older people will prefer to spend their dying years at home or in the care of family members. This will be more available to those prolifers with more children and Christians whose children are more likely to care for their aging parents.
5. Belated attempts to stimulate population growth.
- Some governments are having limited success at increasing birth rates, but most refuse to acknowledge they are the primary cause of the problem by encouraging abortion.
- Monetary incentives for birthing will bring its own chaos. People will have children for the wrong reasons and not wish to care for them when they are born.
- As in Romania there will be more orphans and more demand for government funded day care.
- Children will become increasingly regarded as chattel. There will be more custody disputes.
- Governments will not deal with the underlying problems but continue to bolster the economy which will backfire.
- Even if more children are born now, there will be no improvement in the consuming economies, until they are considered old enough to buy on their own. There will be pressure to lower the age of consent, voting, driving, drinking etc.
III Population growth strategies won’t work.
1. Gloom. When people lose hope they don’t want to have children.
- As they see the economy worsen, they will convince themselves not to have children because “I couldn’t bear to see my children suffer thru this”. And “it has become too expensive to raise a child
- People have children when the feel hopeful. They will conserve and invest for their children’s tomorrow.
- When people feel hopeless they don’t have children and because there are fewer children they feel more hopeless.
2. Post abortion survivors do not want children
- approximately 50% of people born since the early 70 ies in the US and Canada have an aborted sibling. Knowing they were chosen to live while for reasons they can’t comprehend while their brother or sister was unwanted and murdered, leaves them with existential guilt.
- Feeling guilty for being alive, PASS people don’t enjoy life, don’t use their talents and opportunities and expect their future is limited.

Part 2 - Why Christians have no excuse.
1. Christians know what is really going on.
- They are reasonably well educated and informed.
- The Holy Spirit of God is always within them prompting them to listen and learn.
- Though few, there are some modern reliable prophets they could read and hear.
- From family and friends, they can see the devastating consequences of abortion.
2. Christians have good scientific evidence to support their intuition that abortion is wrong and very harmful.
- There is no need to be defensive. Christians should be insisting that those who promote or perform abortions take the burden of proof to show of what benefit is abortion to anyone.
- Christians have a few good researchers to whom they can readily turn for information whenever they need it.
3. Christians are always encouraged and strengthened by the joy of God’s spirit whenever they seriously tackle evil and love their neigh ours.
4. Christians are healthier and happier when they are doing what God commands and what they say they believe.
5. They have the constant reassurance they can’t lose their salvation and therefore they can afford to be bold.
6. Whatever attacks there may be on their spirit, mind or body, they know that God’s Spirit within them is much more powerful then all the evil spirits in the world.
7. Christians can afford to always be generous and mannerly. They know for sure they cannot be defeated. If their body is killed, their spirit is freed to go home to God, their Saviour, Lord and Friend.
“I will not spare even the righteous! I will make a clean sweep throughout the land from south to north.” Ez 21:3
“Do you think, asks the Sovereign Lord, that I like to see wicked people die? Of course not. I only want them to turn from their wicked ways and live” Ez 18:23
“For all people are mine to judge—both parents and children alike. Ez 18:4
“The entire land is full of murder; the city is filled with injustice. Ez. 9:9
“….put a mark on the foreheads of all those who weep and sigh because of the sins they see around them.” Ez 9:4
SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
We have left to us a very small window of opportunity to tackle the basic problems. We must not waste this precious time in self-indulgent living. If you are not sure what you can do. I have many suggestions.
