The Lord God heard the urgent payers of His people. You were
saved from a rapid decay of morality which would have plunged
the country into chaos. People constantly forget that God and
His ways are pragmatic. God insists that we love our neighbours
and guard his life. It works but few see it.
As your neighbour, I thank you and applaud all who stood up,
spoke up and chose life. Your shout has gone around the world.
It has made our Canadian government take many notes. Now we must
work harder still. Pray that all prolife people everywhere will
grasp this opportunity to defend the most vulnerable and promote
life to the fullest. Mr. Bush said it. Every American must be
welcomed. In fact every person, regardless of age, sex, race,
politics and situation, must be made welcome as they are whenever
they are and wherever they are. We must welcome every newly conceived
baby in our name, [offering hospitality and our protection], and
in the name of Jesus, for thereby we welcome God; and He brings
with Him all the resources of the universe. Then no one will be
needy.
“Turn from your wicked ways [slaughtering babies] and stop
worshipping other gods, [materialism] so that you might live in
peace in the land I gave to you and your ancestors.” “Recently
you repented and did what was right. [And may this never be] But
now you have shrugged off your oath and defiled my name by taking
back the men and women you had freed, making them slaves again”.
And though the Babylonian King has left this city for awhile,
I will call the Babylonian armies back again. They will fight
against the city and will capture and burn it.” [Jer. 34a;
15,16, 21, 22 and Jer. 35:15]
People prayed hard and promised God that if He won this election
for prolife, they would renew their efforts to defeat abortion.
Now we must fulfill the terms of our covenant with God and live
as if our lives depended on rescuing preborn babies, for indeed
it does, or else face an outcome worse than the one we just anticipated.
Why does any nation face this cycle of events? Because having
fought hard for freedom, people lapse into complacency,”
We did it”, rest on their laurels, waste their time and
opportunities. They do not realize until too late that the battle
was won by the Lord who out of love and patience is giving us
a rare second chance.
We must remember this. No one can benefit at the expense of the
neighbour, no matter how small. If it isn’t good for the
baby, it will not be good for the mother and father, grandparents
and doctor. Science is making this morality extremely clear in
the evidence of harm from abortion.
My good old friends, I hope I did not offend you with that piece
I wrote before the election.
By the way, how many prolifers does it take to change a light
bulb? Just 3.
One to quietly point out the light is working just fine. One
to pray,’ Lord open their eyes so they will see the light.
One to hold a placard, ‘Don’t try to change that bulb,
we will all be in the dark’
